Galvanized steel structures
Galvanization: chemical process where steel or cast iron is dipped in molten zinc. For the best and most durable results, the product is cleaned before treatment. The zinc has a temperature of 460 oC. What happens in the chemical process is that the zinc actually "rusts" and then forms zinc oxide which then protects the steel or cast iron from foreign elements that can make it rust. Some galvanized products that you often see are for example. lighting piles and car protection. Mostly, hot dip galvanization is used for products used in outdoor environments. Galvanization is a cost-effective solution, both in application and in maintenance costs. Galvanization can be exposed to scratches and marks from impact, but also here the galvanised top layer is incredibly resilient. Therefore, galvanisation has an incredibly long durability.
The galvanized products are environmentally friendly.
